Shoreview ice rinks done being maintained for the winter season

Shoreview’s seven ice rinks are done being maintained and warming houses are closed for the rest of the winter season. This means rinks will no longer be flooded and snow will not be cleared by city staff. Yesterday was the last day warming houses were open and rinks cleaned off. The ice rinks are still open to the public for use until mother nature puts an end to that.
Average highs for the rest for February are 28 & 29 degrees according to Weather Underground data history collected at the Anoka County Airport. March 12th is the first day with an average high above freezing at 33 degrees.
The Ramsey County Shoreview Arena has two skating sessions remaining this season that are open to the public and they are tonight, Tuesday Feb 16 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and next Tuesday Feb 23 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Skaters you better hurry up, the winter season is coming to a quick halt!
