Ramsey County Household Chemicals & Hazardous Waste Collection in Arden Hills in May

On Fridays and Saturdays in May Ramsey County will collect household hazardous waste at the Arden Hills location just behind the Ramsey County Sheriff Department.
Hours are:
- Fridays in May 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
- Saturdays in May 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Location:
- Ramsey Co Public Works site on Ben Franklin Rd in Arden Hills
- map: just northwest of Hwy 96 & Hamline Ave behind the Sheriff Department
Accepted items include:
- Home improvement (paint thinners, solvents, adhesives)
- Automotive (oil & filters, brake fluid, gasoline, antifreeze)
- Items with mercury (thermometers, fluorescent lights, switches)
- Cleaning (drain opener, oven cleaner, acids)
- Lawn / Garden (rechargeable batteries, propane tanks)
Collection is open for residents of Ramsey, Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin and Washington counties.
