Shoreview, Minn. — A standoff that began Monday morning inside a Shoreview townhouse ended seven hours later after the suspect, believed to be armed, was taken into custody.

A man was seriously hurt Tuesday night when he was struck by a vehicle in Shoreview, the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office said. Emergency crews were called about 8:20 p.m. to Rice and Jerrold Streets, near the border with Roseville.
